Captain Buzz Brannon is a true Northeast Florida native with a deep connection to the region’s waterways. Growing up surrounded by the vast and beautiful tidal creeks, rivers, and flats, he developed a passion for saltwater fishing that has spanned over 30 years. From early days targeting redfish and sea trout in shallow mud flats to years of experience fishing the creeks and flats along the St. John’s River and Intracoastal Waterway, Capt. Buzz knows these waters like the back of his hand.
With more than a decade as a full-time fishing guide, Capt. Buzz shares his knowledge and love of the local fishery with anglers at all skill levels. Operating out of a modern 18’ Beavertail Skiff powered by a reliable Yamaha outboard, he offers personalized charters focused on backcountry inshore, light tackle, and fly fishing adventures.
